It’s easy to fall in love with this tiny, pink rhododendron. At only four inches tall, the Kamchatka rhododendron is a feisty plant that thrives in the rocky, mountain crags of Kodiak, Alaska.
When I took this photo, I’d just completed an uphill climb. Sweaty and tired, I sat down among the wildflowers to eat my sandwich. I looked up and saw pink, a rich, velvety pink.
What the world needs now…
Pink is the color of love, kindness, and compassion. Pink makes us feel accepted. It’s a calm color that nurtures us, bringing joy and warmth into our lives.
