Marion’s 2019 calendar: Coming in October

You’re on the go with lots to do… Wait a moment. What if we had soft reminders that there’s more to life than do, do, do? That’s why I graced this year’s calendar cover with a special photo from our garden: A Tibetan blue poppywith a bumblebee hovering in front of it like a tiny helicopter.

The inside story

You’ll find more soft reminders inside: A story about snowflakes, upbeat thoughts by Stephen Hawking, hot gardening tips for cool climates, and — since many of us carry a camera in our pocket — Photography Tips for Busy People. More goodness from Kodiak, Alaska.

It brings me joy to announce that in October, my 2019 calendars will be ready to ship. It’s fun. I mail these calendars around the world to homes, dormitories, restaurants, (think Women’s bathroom), hospitals, coffee shops, and a monastery or two.

How to order

I’ll keep you posted with order details. Meanwhile, build your list of friends and family members you’d like to gift a calendar to. (Some of my customers buy 7 or 12 at a time and ask me to autograph each one). Like I said, it’s fun. By the way, the Tibetan, also know as the Himalayan blue poppy, is the national flower of Bhutan.

As always, if you have any questions or comments, please post them below or contact me this way:
